Privacy Policy
Influence Gearbox Inc. follows Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). This page explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
- What you give us in our forms: your name, business name, email, phone, town, and your answers about your business.
- Payment and billing details, collected and stored by Stripe, our payment processor. We see your name, billing address and the last four digits of your card, never the full number.
- Information about your business's public online presence, which we look up to prepare your AI Visibility Report.
- When you're a client: the data needed to run the services you buy, such as call and booking records for missed-call text-back.
Why we use it
- To prepare your report, deliver the services you buy, and contact you about them.
- To send occasional tips and offers by email, only if you ticked the box to agree. You can unsubscribe any time.
- To improve our services using anonymized, combined information. We never sell personal information.
Who helps us
We use trusted service providers to run the business: Stripe (payments), HubSpot (customer records), Microsoft 365 (email), Vercel (website hosting), Notion (internal tracking) and Anthropic's Claude (AI drafting, on business accounts). Some of these store information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law.
How long we keep it
As long as needed to serve you and meet tax and legal record-keeping requirements, then we delete or anonymize it.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw your consent, by emailing nate.caleb@influencegearbox.com. We reply within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
